Up Next showing a show I am already up to date with

Doctor Who shows 100% watched but is still showing under Up Next. When I click on Progress, it’s showing the next episode in the list even though that doesn’t air until Friday:

First, please try to clear your cache using the uption to Reset Browser Data: Advanced Settings - Trakt
Also, see if when you watch something that show dissapears. You can just mark and unmark something as watched to test that too.

After I posted this, I found this other thread which seems to be the same issue:
Seeing a couple episodes that don’t air for a few days showing in my Up Next list. They appear on both the website and the iOS app. Send like a bug. [IMG_3080][IMG_3081][IMG_3082]

If you refresh the page, is the 100% show gone? If so, this seems like the correct behavior so that you know you’re 100% after marking the most recent episode watched.

I have just one show that started showing up in the Up next which is 100% complete. It also shows up on the iOS app, and also in the prog
Why is Up Next limited to TV Shows?

I feel like it should be ways to view Movies alongside TV Shows in the Up Next-queue, at least as an option?

I would imagine because TV Shows are a number of seasons/episodes and therefore there is a “next one to watch” as in Up Next.
Movies are normally 1 offs (sure there are sequels to some at some point after) and therefore there is no “next one to watch”.
Just my thought.

Yeah, I get that.
My problem is that as I tag TV-Shows and Movies to the Watchlist, only TV-Shows appear in the Up next-queue after release. That means that I also always have to check the Watchlist for movies. Would make more sense to me having movies appear in Up Next after release…

TV shows do not appear in the Up Next queue after release. They appear after you’ve started watching them. You have to have watched an episode before it appears there. So that system wouldn’t work for movies.
Sorting and filtering the watchlist is probably the best option for what you’re wanting out of
Trakt.tv doesn't sync with Jellyfin
FG111
Hi there,
I’ve noticed that TV episodes played via Infuse are not being marked as “watched” in Trakt once they conclude, even though Infuse and Jellyfin correctly register them. They execute appear as “playing” in Trakt during playback.
Manually marking an episode as watched in Infuse does update Trakt accurately.
I’d also enjoy to mention that I start a forum topic addressing this very problem, and the answer appeared to have been implemented. Could you please look into why this is happening again ?
Jellyfin 10.10.7
Infuse 8.1.9

Thank you !

I think I’ve pinpointed why the “watched” status isn’t always updating correctly in Trakt.
The issue seems to reach from a mismatch between how Jellyfin and Infuse determine that an episode has been fully watched.
• From Jellyfin’s side: It marks an episode as watched almost immediately after playback ends and automatically queues up the next episode in the series.
• From Infuse’s side: Infuse doesn’t seem to mark the episode as fully watched at the same moment. Because of that, it doesn’t send the “watched” status to Trakt right away—or at all.

Additional Sorting option for Up Next
Schamens (Schamens) 1
As a recent TV Time convert I’ve been loving trakt, the thing I’m missing is TV Time’s default sorting for my shows on my “Watchlist” (“Up Next” on trakt).
The watchlist sorts by a combination of what you are watching and what is currently airing as opposed to one or the other. For example, I am currently sorting by recently watched and am watching Gilmore girls for the first time while also watching other shows that are currently airing. If a new episode airs I would like it to be higher on the "Up Next’ than Gilmore Girls as I prioritize current shows. However, sorting by “Air Date” or any other date related option puts Gilmore Girls on the very bottom instead of being easily accessible in a “currently watching” style sort

In settings HERE you can change from watched date to episodes left, time left and other options, even popularity.
Schamens (Schamens) 3
Yes but none of those produce the sorting result for a combination of watched date and air date.

You can change the top option to “last aired” and 2nd option down to “watched date” , that way it
